The Scholastic Book Fair returns to Roxbury October 15-19! The fair features an assortment of beginning readers, chapter books, picture books, activity books, craft and activity kits, reference books, computer software, posters, and gift items.
Your child will preview the book fair on October 15-16. During the preview sessions, your child can browse through the books and create a “Wish List” of books that interest him or her to take home to review with you. Students can purchase books with their class on October 17-18. The exact date that your child’s class will shop will be on your child’s Wish List.
The Book Fair sale runs Wednesday, October 17 from 7:45 a.m. – 2:45 p.m., Thursday, October 18 from 7:45 a.m. – 11:30 a.m., and October 19 from 7:45 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. in the Multi-Purpose Room. Parents are welcome to visit the Book Fair at any time.
A special Family Event will be held Thursday, October 19 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. in the gym. This is a great time for parents and children to select books together. Prize drawings will be held throughout the evening. Make plans for your family to attend this fun-filled event! |
