Tuesday, April 12, 2016

As a reminder, our students in grades 7 & 8 will be taking the 2016 state assessments later this month. Please find below the testing schedule for students at Solon Middle School. This schedule includes the dates for all state assessments aligned to the learning standards in the core content areas of grade 7 & 8 English/Language Arts, grade 8 Science, grade 7 & 8 Math, grade 7 & 8 Algebra I, and grade 8 Geometry.

This year, Solon Middle School students are taking the electronic version of the English/Language Arts assessments early in the day for grade 7 and in the afternoon for grade 8. They will take the paper and pencil versions of grade 8 science and all math tests in the morning. The testing window allowed by the state is short, so it is important for students to be in school on these days.
